A Heritage Garden
This garden was designed to serve multiple purposes for the clients. A raised vege patch was constructed to provide easy access for the homeowners to grow and harvest their own food for cooking. All the garden beds were joined together with a rose arbour to provide height and scale to that part of the garden. The already-established trees created a perfect shady spot for the client's love of hellebores and have a beautiful display of flowers in the cooler months. The circular stone seating area complements the curves of the garden beds and provides an excellent spot to enjoy the garden and wildlife. Slate steppers are placed throughout to join all the functional areas together. The openness and vast use of flowering plants have encouraged additional birds and bees also to inhabit the space which the homeowners were hoping to achieve.
